RM Surveys help to rebuild fire-affected Gidgegannup community.
The City Of Swan Tilden Park residents can now rebuild fencing lost during the 2021 Wooroloo bushfire which impacted 80 per cent of the Tilden Park estate. RM Surveys provided repeg services, surveying the boundaries of 43 lots in Tilden Park and were honoured to receive a letter from Cr Keven Bailey Mayor, City of Swan, who said
“On behalf of the City of Swan, l sincerely thank you and your organisation for your support to our residents and property owners who were adversely impacted by the Wooroloo bushfire in February 2021. In particular, Samundra Sarubin has been a valuable contact for both City Officers and local residents.
I have personally driven through the fire affected areas and it has been humbling to see personnel and volunteers working tirelessly to assist and improve the lives of the Gidgegannup community. Often, extraordinary times bring out the best in people, as we have all witnessed in recent times.
I would also like to thank RM Surveys for waiving fees for residents whose properties were impacted by the bushfire. This kindness has not gone unnoticed. Again, your actions have made a world of difference to our community, and we deeply appreciate your assistance and support.”
A Gidgegannup resident showed Geoff Robb and Samudra Sarubin through the remains of her burnt-out home. “Belongings, memories and treasures – all reduced to charred rubble, it was a humbling experience, to say the least,” said Samudra.
