The next generation of West Australian Soccer referees have just returned from a 10-day trip to the United Kingdom, attending the fourth biennial Football West Referee Development tour.

While at the Birmingham County and Lancashire Football Association, eight budding WA referees immersed themselves in professional refereeing environments, learning from experts in the field.

One of RM Surveys’ Directors, Greg Birch, has long been associated with Football West and is still a referee assessor during the football season.

RM Surveys were pleased to be able to sponsor these young match officials in making this trip. We look forward to seeing them refereeing NPL and possibly even A League games in the future!
