Today is International Women’s Day – a day to recognise the tremendous contribution that RM Surveys’ 11-strong female professionals bring to our company. Dane Blower, RM Surveys Director of Operations, said,
In a typically ‘male-dominated’ industry such as surveying, RM Surveys’ amazing band of female employees has not only shown that women can do this job, but they can excel and thrive in the spatial profession!
Eleven female employees out of 75 equate to roughly 15% of our company. Of course, it’s a number we can build on, but RM Surveys would not be half the company without them! So today, we reflect on our female colleagues’ excellent contributions to our company.

The IWD 2023 campaign theme is “Embrace Equity”.
It is critical to understand the difference between equity and equality. This is because we all start from different places, and our life journeys take us on different paths. Therefore everyone’s workplace and career needs are different.
