Zach Howes qualifies for Approved Surveys of Mining Tenements

RM Surveys proudly announces that the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DMIRS) approves Zach Howes Senior Surveyor – Mine Tenement & Exploration to carry out DMIRS requested mining tenure surveys.

Zach’s deep connection to the bush drives his passion for remote work. His strong logistics skills specialising in remote areas place him as one of WA’s leading Licensed Surveyors to carry out mining lease surveys, marking out and inspections surveys anywhere across the state.

Hand-selected and mentored by highly respected Phil Richards, who said,

I have personally known Zach since 2018 and worked closely with Zach since then in my role as joint manager of RM Surveys Mine Tenement & Exploration division. We worked together on numerous DMIRS Tenement Survey Projects, and Zach was integral in the planning, implementation & finalisation of these surveys.

As I am now semi-retired, my mentoring with Zach will be for about three months a year, but I have no hesitation in supporting his application for DMIRS Approved Surveyor status.

Zach is a very capable surveyor and has had four years of experience in the marking out & surveying of mining tenements.

Zach joins Bennett Tunbridge, RM Surveys Director and Survey Manager Mine Tenements and Exploration, on the Approved Surveyors of Mining Tenements register.

As a Licensed Surveyor, Zach’s depth of expertise spans 7 years. It includes a four-year Bachelor of Surveying degree, two years working under another Licensed Surveyor, completing five cadastral projects, and three exams.

Zach’s experience means he can also conduct mine control surveys, establish aerial ground control and aerial control target establishment.

RM Surveys would like to congratulate Zach, and we look forward to his impact across our client base.
