Maylands Lake
As part of the City Of Bayswater’s lake monitoring program, RM Surveys was engaged to ascertain the amount of sediment inLake Brickworks, Lake Bungana and Lake Brearley ā old clay ponds from the brickworks. This information was critical to the development of recommendationsĀ to improve the water quality and environmental health of the lakes and prevent the occurrence of algal blooms in the future.
UsingĀ our latest remote controlled Accura boat, a Bathymetric survey was conductedĀ usingĀ Dual Frequency Cee Echo sounder. This unique method enabled RM Surveys to survey the āsoftā lake bottom and āhardā lake bottom and compute theĀ volume of sediment, sediment ranges and sediment distribution.
