Scarborough Beach Pool
Cooper & Oxley have commenced construction on the City of Stirlingās $26millionĀ Scarborough Beach Pool facility.
Set to be opened to the public in early 2018, this visionary new facility will form the centrepiece of the ongoing Scarborough Revitalisation effort.
The pool will feature eight 50m lap swimming lanes along with four 25m lanes, a swim school area, covered spectator seating, changing rooms and cafe.
The lap pool and leisure pools will be geothermally-heated to 27.C and 32.C for swimmers to use all-year round. Extensive lighting will also allow night-time use.
The distinct curved building design including feature precast curved columns, timber cladding and large curved tiled external feature wall, will ensure that this 5 star green building remains an icon for many years to come.
