In This Issue- A Message from the CEO

Peter Marcello

The pace of technological change in the surveying and construction sectors continues to accelerate.

Project demands, new tools, increasing precision requirements, and evolving expectations around asset performance, condition, and longevity are creating new opportunities in the way specialist services are delivered.

At RM Surveys, we continue to invest in the people, partnerships, and specialist capabilities that enable us to respond to these opportunities and deliver greater value to our clients.

This quarter, we are excited to launch our Integrated Monitoring Solutions, combining automated telemetry with survey and spatial expertise to provide a clearer, continuous view of changing asset conditions. This capability helps clients make more informed decisions, identify issues earlier, understand how site activity relates to asset deformation in near real time, and better manage critical infrastructure over time.

The value of new capability lies not simply in the technology itself, but in the specialist knowledge required to apply it effectively. It is this combination of technical expertise, problem solving, and experience that enables our teams to work confidently across diverse and often complex environments.

In this edition, we share examples of that expertise in practice, from specialist technical work in challenging industrial settings to the unique spatial challenges associated with Julian Charrière’s Breathe installation at MONA.

As always, our people remain at the heart of everything we do. The three 20-year milestones reached this year by Bennett Tunbridge, Mat Armstrong, and Luke Howell reflect the depth of knowledge that develops within a business over time and the importance of passing that knowledge to the next generation of surveyors.

As our industry continues to evolve, we remain committed to strengthening our capabilities in ways that deliver practical value for our clients, now and into the future.

Peter Marcello.
