RM Surveys Laser Scans North Beach Bowling Club

Back in April 2017, RM Surveys’ laser scanning services were enlisted to capture three bowling greens at the North Beach Bowling Club.

The data capture provided the Greenskeeper with a record of any high and low points, and enabled him to assess and tune the flatness of the greens. This method saved the Greenskeeper many hours of work, as he would typically undertake this assessment with a spirit level.

12 months on, RM Surveys were invited back to the Club to laser scan both the grass greens and assess if there has been any change to the profile of the surface. The client was thrilled with data and the insight it provided into the shape of the greens.
